Getting Started
When our children moved out of the house a few years ago, my husband and I had been nearing our goal of retirement and had our sights set on traveling the US. We had dreams of month long trips to the Grand Canyon and camping in our nation’s parks like Yellowstone.
Soon after, we had unexpectedly joined the GAP (grandparents as parents) community by taking in our two small grandchildren. That’s when our idea of camping changed and we began incorporating shorter trips that fit our new lifestyle. Taking weekend getaways that focused on relaxation and some child friendly activities, we learned camping could be an enjoyable escape for all of us.

While our exception of travel has changed, our love for travel and enjoying the outdoors has not. We want to share our vacationing insight. So if that sounds interesting to you, we are so glad you are here and we look forward to sharing our adventure with you.
